Position Description:
Customer Service Representative (CSR)
Immediate need for full-time CSR to support a large federal government program located at the ITC in Bossier City, LA. Candidate must be a US Citizen and able to obtain a Public Trust clearance. The Customer Service Representatives will provide support to an informational hotline that receives calls from the public and answer questions and provide accurate information related to government programs.
 
Requires the ability to work an 8-hour flexible shift schedule between 8:30 AM and 7PM M-F
 
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Answer incoming telephone calls on behalf of client and provide accurate and appropriate information
  • Place outbound customer service or customer satisfaction calls as required
  • Correctly complete call guides; gather and verify all information
  • Attend skills and program information training sessions and demonstrate mastery of subject matter in required timeframes
  • Adhere to contact center work schedule and ensure adequate coverage during hours of operation
 
Education:
  • Minimum of High School Diploma or General Educational Development (GED) Certificate
 
Experience:
  • Minimum of twelve months’ customer service experience
  • Call Center or Contact Center experience a plus
 
Language Skills:
Language proficiency in spelling, grammar, and speech - verbal and written
 
Additional Requirements:
  • Typing/keyboard/computer proficiency (16 words per minute)
  • Must be detail oriented
  • Professional demeanor and appearance
  • Must be able to pass suitability screening
